Software, art,
and things worth figuring out.
I build software around things I care about: understanding our patterns, helping a retreat run, and learning from what other makers have tried. I make art, too.

Background & experience ↗
From the working betaFilament Friends
A way for 3D-printing enthusiasts to compare actual prints, with the filament, machine, and settings attached.
Community software · Working local betaOne detail I care about: changing a saved printer setup must not change the record of an old print. Each result keeps the configuration it was made with.Inside the project ↗

In Journey
Art · From the collectionDDRC Workbook
I volunteered to help a Buddhist retreat center spend less time coordinating housing, seating, check-in, and paperwork.
Volunteer software · In developmentThe tricky part isn’t filling a spreadsheet.
It’s keeping the plan consistent when people and assignments change. Staff review a proposed plan before applying it; workbooks and printouts then use those reviewed decisions.
How the pieces fit together ↗Socraites
A personal research project about recording experience and noticing connections without mistaking a plausible story for a fact.
Software & AI experiments · In developmentThe question underneath it: how do you keep an interpretation connected to the observations—and make it easy to challenge?Notes on the experiment ↗

I’m open to projects, collaborations, and good questions.
