What can we learn by paying closer attention?
Where it started
I’m building a way to record everyday experiences and explore the connections between them. It brings together an interest in the mind with the engineering challenge of finding useful patterns in messy, personal observations.
What I’m building
The work spans a logging interface, structured data, graph relationships, and experimental AI reasoning. I’m especially interested in keeping an interpretation connected to the observations behind it—and making room to question it. The reasoning work is still experimental.
The interesting part is the uncertainty.
Finding a plausible connection is easy to confuse with finding a true one. I’m working on ways to keep the original observations visible, examine other explanations, and let a person question the interpretation. That problem brings together the interface, data model, and reasoning experiments.
Still taking shape
I’m continuing to test how useful those interpretations are and how to present them without overstating what the observations can tell us.
